The Franklin Tavern Jam Continues Every Wednesday!
The Franklin Tavern jam was established more than 5 1/2 years ago by Kevin Kiley. Blues musicians and fans owe Kevin a debt of gratitude for the time and effort he put in to make this event a success. Its a tough balancing act dealing with various personalities and skill levels to put the right combination's of players together in a cohesive musical way.
Since Kevin has since opted to move on to other ventures, we now have a chance to jam with one of the areas finest musicians, new host, Charlie Jones. Charlie has been a part of the local music scene for 40 years. An incredible performer, his playing is exiting, unpredictable. He is always interesting and entertaining. An expert in all genres of music he is sure to make his unique style an integral part of the jam.
Richie Noorigian will continue as house drummer with the marvelous Sandy Winnerman on bass!
UJBN encourages you to come out and continue to participate and support the jam and other events at the Franklin Tavern.
Proprietor, Robert "Mousie" D'Aries, has unselfishly supported live music. In addition to the Wednesday jam he has provided many other musicians and bands an opportunity to perform.
